Mt Barker Dentists is committed to ensuring patients receive quality dental care and will always help find the best financial solution to suit your needs and budget. Our practice has EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities. If you have private health insurance, remember to bring your card with you so your rebate can be obtained on the day. All private health insurers are welcome. Our preference is that the gap is paid on the day of your appointment.
Accepted payment methods include EFTPOS, Visa, Master Card, cash, cheque, electronic bank transfer, and zip pay.
All Government schemes are accepted including Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme, General Dental Scheme, Pensioner Dental Scheme, Emergency Dental Scheme and Veterans Affairs card holders. Prior approval is required by the South Australian Dental Service (SADS Clinic) to be seen under a Government scheme.
Child Dental Benefits Scheme – Medicare
Children and teenagers aged between 2 and 17 who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Scheme will have their treatment bulk-billed to Medicare. If you’re unsure whether your children or teenagers are eligible, please contact our friendly reception team and they will advise.
Financial Arrangements
New patients are required to pay in full on the day at their first appointment. Subsequent appointments can be given an account which patients have 21 days to settle. Patients requiring more extensive treatment can arrange electronic bank transfer repayments. Simply ask our friendly reception staff for further information. Accounts are offered at the dentist’s discretion and Mt Barker Dentists reserves the right to request payment in full on the day. In these circumstances, patients will be informed prior to their appointment.
